WEB/007Website optimisation

Make loading, browsing
and getting in touch easier.

We improve existing websites so they load, read and work better. We review performance, mobile use, accessibility and search foundations, then check changes against the starting point.

DesignDevelopmentAdaptation

Detect friction.
Improve what matters.

Friction may come from loading, reading or an unclear step. We look for its cause and prioritise changes whose effect we can check.

/001

Loading and performance

Identify images, resources or technical decisions that delay access to content.

/002

Reading and navigation

Review the hierarchy, interactions and user journeys that make information hard to find or an action hard to complete.

/003

Mobile use and accessibility

Check representative screens, keyboard use, forms and barriers we can address within the scope.

/004

Search foundations

Review structure, metadata, indexing and links to help search engines understand the website.

From symptoms
to prioritised improvements.

We combine technical checks with real user journeys. The report distinguishes recommendations, fixes applied and issues that require a larger piece of work.

Prioritised improvements.
Reviewed results.

These are the elements we define in the proposal. The final scope depends on your starting point and business priorities.

/001

Initial review

We agree on representative pages and devices and record the starting point.

/002

Improvement plan

We prioritise findings by value, effort and dependence on the existing platform.

/003

Agreed corrections

We apply the agreed changes, using a copy or test environment where appropriate.

/004

Subsequent verification

We compare changes against the starting point and document remaining limitations or tasks.

/005

Handover and continuity

We hand over the access, documentation and guidance covered by the agreed scope. Follow-up or maintenance is defined separately if commissioned.

Measure.
Improve. Check.

(4)
  1. Establish the starting point

We choose representative pages and journeys and record measurements and observed problems.

  2. Prioritise improvements

We separate corrections we can make from changes that depend on the platform or a redesign.

  3. Apply the corrections

We work on a copy or test environment where appropriate and review the affected features.

  4. Compare the results

We repeat the checks and explain what has improved, which limitations remain and what to address next.

Thoughtfully built.
Ready to continue.

Your content

We agree on who prepares the copy, photography, translations and brand materials. The website should explain your business using information you can validate.

Access and ownership

We define domain, hosting, accounts and tools so you know where each piece is and who manages it.

Continuity

We distinguish the initial delivery from updates, licences and future improvements. Further development has a defined scope and an owner.

Before we start.

(5)
Can you optimise without changing the design?

Yes. Many improvements are technical or affect specific elements. If the problem depends on structure or design, we explain it and propose the appropriate scope.

How will I know what has improved?

We record the starting point and repeat the checks afterwards. We distinguish completed changes from outstanding recommendations; we do not promise a particular score or search position.

Is the design included?

Design and development are defined in the proposal. We can work from your existing identity or create a visual direction for the website. If you already have a designer, we can coordinate implementation of their work.

Can I update the content?

We can include a content management system for the material you need to edit. We agree on which parts are editable, who maintains them and the guidance you need to use them.

Does this include SEO and maintenance?

The proposal defines technical SEO foundations and maintenance tasks. Building a website does not guarantee a search ranking; content, competition and subsequent work also influence the result.
