Celso Marrero
Photography first.
Celso Marrero, a campaign photographer for Nike, Marc Jacobs and Chanel, needed a portfolio where photography led the journey between galleries and projects.
Working from Naiara Odriozola's design, we built the website, its transitions and a content manager so Celso could publish and organise his work independently.

Fluid as water.
Selecting a photograph expands it into the project's cover. Images respond to scrolling and the pointer with real-time WebGL ripples, connecting the galleries into one continuous journey.
His portfolio. In his hands.
Celso publishes new work without touching code, reorders projects by dragging them and composes galleries in a visual editor. Publishing updates the website automatically in seconds.
The preview shows the composition before publication and lets Celso adjust each crop. We also prepared a user guide so he can keep the portfolio up to date.

Three languages. One vision.
The portfolio is published in English, Italian and French. Each edition has its own URLs, titles and descriptions to reach clients in Milan and Paris.
All three languages are edited in the same content manager, preserving the portfolio's design and navigation in every edition.

The same rhythm. On mobile, too.
We adapt the composition, menu and gestures to the vertical screen to keep the rhythm of the portfolio.
Each image is served at an appropriate size to preserve detail and adjust its file size to the screen.
Under the
surface.
Development also takes care of what is unseen: images adapted to each screen, publishing from the content manager and a structure prepared for search engines in three languages.
